I think I might be a plant
I perk up when I have a drink of water
Sugar is my favorite food
I’m rooted in my home
I stretch my branches out to the sky
when I’m in my best mood
I feel energized in the sun
My favorite color is green
I love to see animals all around me
I sway in the wind
And embrace the rain
I feel wilted sometimes too
And I feel pain
